Our Background

How We Got Here

Growing up in the deep South, my mom always had a huge garden every summer, spending many days freezing and canning tomatoes, making pickles and relishes along with jams and jellies on occasion. 

I've been making some of those same recipes since I started my own family many, many years ago.  My family is all grown up now, and after pondering what to do with myself, the pandemic hit and sort of decided for me. 

I began experimenting with my barbecue sauces, and moved on to jams and apple butter, which led me to finding and perfecting a few unusual combinations that have become favorites among many.  After losing my job of 18 years, I decided now was as good a time as any to start a lil shop!  I hope you enjoy my journey and my labors of love.
